The Patio Bullrich: a luxury shopping mall, "just around the corner"

Just a few blocks away from our Hotel, on Posadas St. 1245, you can find the very first mall ever built in the city of Buenos Aires: The Patio Bullrich. It was inaugurated in September 1988 and is located in one of the most distinguished areas of the city, surrounded by luxury hotels, embassies and high-end boutiques.

The building that now houses the Patio Bullrich mall belonged for many years to the family of the same name and was designed by the english architect Juan Waldorp in 1867 in a Neoclassic style. This building was famous for functioning as an auction house for all kind of collectibles (from stock to jewllery and even purebreed horses!)
Even today, it maintains its charm with a historical-modern style, since the current owners wanted to keep alive the tradition of the old building (you can still see original sculptures, iron work and even a clock) fused with modern arquitecture.

Currently, the Patio Bullrich has 86 stores of world-renowned brands, 15 restaurants in a grand food court, offering from fast food on the go to sushi and italian inspired cuisine options, like Francesca, or Sensu offering great japanese food or classics like Mc Donalds if you go with kids. For dessert we recoomend having a Freddo ice cream while "window shopping" it is a classic and they offer delicous and must-try flavours! You can even watch a movie in one of their movie theaters and it  also has parking space underground for just over 200 cars, not to mention being located in the heart of Recoleta (less than 3 blocks away from our Hotel!) and only minutes away from our financial district.

The shopping center houses brands such as: Louis Vuitton, Ermenegildo Zegna, Cacharel, Diesel, Salvatore Ferragamo, Swarovski, Rochas, Zara, Hugo Boss as well as reknown national fashion houses with exclusive designs. Among its fashion stores it also has jewelers boutiques that sell brands like Cartier, Bulgari or Tag Heuer.
